The Society will run programmes to:

Provide a positive direction to the children / youth and help them grow into socially responsible citizens by working with the students of the educational institutes.

Create opportunities for the retired people to live contented and useful lives by becoming contributors to the society.

Old and the young will work as a team to achieve the aims and objectives of Aavahan.
Committed to the cause, Aavahan has launched its pioneer programmes SPIRIT INDIA and SPIRIT DIVINE initiated by its Founder President, Mrs Meera Sharma.Presently the programmes are being carried out under the patronage of a premier multi-faculty post graduate institution- Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32 C, Chandigarh.
These programmes aim to raise the Patriotism Quotient and the Spirituality or Humanity Quotient of the future builders of our country.
All the activities undertaken by this NGO are focused on the optimum utilization of the available resources and channelisation of the immense latent potential in the young generation.
